The Senior Management Team works together to develop and implement strategic plans, continuous quality improvement, resource allocation, risk management, and organization performance monitoring. The team is led by the executive director, comprised of CCI department directors, and accountable to the Board of Directors. Operations With two major programs operating daily and Saturdays in six locations, active communication among staff is a priority. The Operations Team meets monthly and includes all managers of health services and WIC. At a second level, bi-monthly meetings and regular training programs are held with administration. A staff development plan was developed before the year began, and provided a structure for comprehensive training and information flow. In addition, quarterly all-staff meetings are held for special topics such as diversity, customer service, and conflict management training. A close eye on the state of CCI’s physical facilities led to a refurbishing of the Solomon Health Center in Gaithersburg. A private billing space, a fifth exam room, new carpet, new vinyl floors, and a fresh coat of paint complete an improved space for all who work and receive care there. |
