Application Process

Review volunteer opportunities at www.1-800-volunteer.org and select Community Clinic. Complete the easy process to apply for a position. The CCI Director of Advancement, Amy Moorer, will receive and respond to your inquiry. She will call you to make a personal contact and discuss a match with an available volunteer position.

Medical volunteer placements (physician, physician's assistant, certified nurse practitioner, nurse) require a current Maryland license and proof of credentials. Other volunteer positions have varying requirements, needed skills, or interests. Spanish-speaking and Spanish literate volunteers are sought since close to 80% of CCI's patients and WIC participants are Spanish-speaking. In addition, CCI has a variety of project needs that do not require speaking or reading Spanish, so there are other placement opportunities available.
