The vision of the Board of Directors of Community Clinic, Inc. (CCI) is that every child and adult deserves a healthy start and a healthful life. Many people can afford to obtain the health care they need, but more than 100,000 people in our community are not so fortunate. CCI serves medically needy, Medicaid, disabled, homeless, and uninsured individuals and families living in our neighborhood. A constellation of six centers operates daily to provide accessible, high-quality care for many people to manage their own good health—a necessary tenet to long and productive lives. A private, nonprofit, nongovernmental agency incorporated in 1972, CCI seeks to serve those in need of primary medical and health-related services. We invite members of the community who wish to continue our important work to join us in active personal involvement and help us make our vision a reality. |
La Clínica de la Comunidad provee importantes
servicios básicos de salud para usted y su familia. Si quiere
mantenerse saludable, o si está enfermo y necesita ver a
un doctor o a un asistente médico de salud, CCI puede darle
esa atención médica que usted necesita. Además CCI administra el Programa WIC en
el Condado de Montgomery y la parte Noroeste del Condado de Prince
George. WIC provee sin costo alguno educación en nutrición
y alimentos suplementarios para mujeres embarazadas, bebés
y niños menores de cinco años. La Clínica de la Comunidad acepta adultos y niños con necesidades de cuidado en salud y nutrición. En seis clínicas localizadas alrededor del Condado, usted puede recibir atención médica o servicios del WIC cerca de dónde usted vive.
