Nutrition Education Class

WIC focuses on Nutrition.  CCI-WIC’s nutrition education class topic for June, July and August is “Growing your Garden”.  The class discusses the new Dietary Guidelines recommendation for fruit and vegetable intake and gives practical tips on ways to eat more each day.  The class talks about why eating more fruits and vegetables is important and also provides a demonstration on planting & growing vegetables in containers.For more information visit your local WIC clinic.
